  Enjoyed my visit to St Brendan's today where I got married in 1972. I took a school friend of mine out for the day & that was one of the top locations for us to visit to show her the Clarke Windows, the lovely furnishings & the many beautiful icons & items that are kept so well in the Cathedral. She was so pleased with her visit. Loved the pulpit, the lights, the altar & the windows of course. She is going back to USA with lovely memories of her visit there. Her comments made me appreciate the building even more if that was possible. Well done to all who keep the Cathedral in such good condition.

  An impressive church for a small town, this is the seat of the Diocese of Clonfert, a Norman enclave in south County Galway that is very good at hurling.
  
  The Cathedral is dedicated to Saint Brendan, is easily accessed and has some interesting windows in it too, most likely by Richard King
